How come nobody talk about the nepo-baby farmers!!!

This is literally all anyone has ever asked. And I take it to reflect that Maya Hawke is confident enough as an actress and artist and comfortable enough in her career to know she’s going to be weighed favorably on her merits against her advantages and it doesn’t make her less if someone else got screwed over it. To

True, and kids getting into the family business isn’t just a Hollywood thing of course.

“Refreshing” is a good word for it. So few beneficiaries will admit this. We keep seeing interviews of these entertainers claiming, “We actually have to work even harder than everyone else...” and other nonsense. That’s the part that I’m tired of — the denials, the gaslighting, the woe-is-me attitude, as if we will be

The children of wealthy, influencial, famous people will always have a advantage, no matter what they choose to do. Hollywood doesn’t seem overwhelmed with the kids of A List celebs. I judge film actors differently than stage actors. Brilliantly scripted and produced movies can compensate for poor acting only so long.

Rumer Willis

I thought Once Upon a Time in Hollywood purposefully cast a bunch of nepo babies for the Manson family? Kevin Smith’s daughter, Andie Macdowell’s daughter... thought there were others too?

I’m really hoping he's the new Kang.

We hate [x] now so we are going to pretend [x] isn’t one of the greatest of all time.

MIC DROP!

Em’s been trying to offend people and then complaining about people trying to silence him for his entire career, especially in his Slim Shady persona which this is explicitly a return to / culmination of. Actually being shocked by any of it is just playing into his hands.

It’s not that he isn’t talented or clever: he’s both. But even in rap, where wordplay counts for a whole lot, it’s usually the singer, not the song. Eminem can write and do verbal gymnastics like few others, but so what? I find his delivery too nasal and too sharp by half: the dude can’t seem to be anything but

Ha, that headline came to mind for me as well. What’s funny is that he doesn’t even really say anything outrageous in the song in the first place. Like, what’s of note here: a couple of hacky trans jokes that felt like light jabs at worst, the usual tired celebrity references, and... a participation trophy reference

Going back to my youth, the Onion had a story that stuck with me headlined

I like the video for the most part, but somebody in his inner circle, PLEASE stop him from going back to these terrible punchlines. The interpolation choruses too. The whole throwback angle doesn’t work when he keeps going back to the well that made him fall off in the first place.

Emma Stone is going for the Meryl Streep crown.  Consistently great indie/drama films and having fun in the mediocre blockbusters.

My two cents, feel free to debate: I feel like the relatively tepid critical reception (I do not care about box office) of Pixar’s last several years’ worth of original films (as opposed to sequels) is because their blend of whimsy and deep emotion (with stellar writing, plotting, and casting) was pretty amazing for a

Wait this guy did The Lobster and Killing of a Sacred Deer? I might’ve just realized he’s my favourite director.

Cannot wait.
