Lin Manuel Miranda soundtrack for music by Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear (the duo behind the TikTok-popular Bridgerton musical),

Nah, they were going to venture out, but that’s still their home and kingdom, so I think it’s a real dick move on Moana’s part. It’s pretty much a refusal to eventually cede power, and is basically their Jan 6th.  Shame on you, Moana.

I’m just going to note that Moana putting a huge, awkwardly-shaped shell on top the stacked rocks of her ancestors totally ruins that tradition for anyone else.

I thought he meant The Black Keys were on a Tinder date and maybe that’s why the show was so unimpressive.

They play more smaller shows than they did, mostly because Keith is in LA now I think, but those shows are basically industry things with tickets being basically non existent to regular people.

It’s very chicken-egg to me, in the sense that the Black Keys are known and long-lived enough that you could fill an arena off $30 tickets, but not $200 ones.

Have the Black Keys even heard themselves? They’d be much better to see live in a bar/club.

See, now the “James Bond is just a codename” is a fan theory I can get behind - if only because it makes perfect sense that John Patrick Mason from The Rock is Connery’s Bond.

...hmmm if only there was something currently happening within the Justice Department that was pertinent to the question posed by this article.

Mad Max is a series where the canon doesn’t really matter to me. It does not improve, not detract from what we are seeing each film.

I’ve always thought they might benefit from “James Bond” being a role that qualified agents are recruited to assay.

My vote for the worst one: Cameron is not a fucking ghost in Ferris Buehler. JFC, go outside and play, kids.

Amen. It’s just a different name for “it was all a dream”.

Arguably the whole reason RPGs were created was to create some sort of rules to answer questions like these, as RPGs are basically just formalized versions of those ad-hoc playground games.

oh i’m sure even back in the oral traditions days people were like ‘actually when i first heard about beowulf it went down differently’

The easiest way to look at it is that each movie after the first one is a story told about Max by succeeding generations.  Road Warrior is framed as a memory of the Feral Kid, Thunderdome ends with Savannah telling the story, Fury Road ends with a quote from the History Man as if we’ve been told a piece of “history,”

No. Next Question.

They could at least get her job title right.

Right, no one is saying that she can’t do her job, but surely there is training about not repeatedly physically pushing someone off the carpet. As for the racism claim, all Kelly said is that the usher wasn’t doing this to white people on the carpet, which...is it true? Let’s evaluate whether it’s true before we

Is this a joke?
