Nah, Canadian Mulroneys are not nearly as endearing.

Sidenote: that's a very fun book.

I like to think that those who read comics know and appreciate this, but I get that for the families, it still stings.

I’m not a car person (I don't even have a license) but I'm tentatively hopeful about that car show. I like the idea that rather than car people getting defensive about a "war on cars", the hobby can care about being more eco-friendly.

Multimillionaires who don’t seem to quite understand what it means to be a private citizen yet, though I don’t understand why Meghan doesn’t. The real problem seems to be that they don’t want to stop being “interesting”.

They claimed they wanted a quiet life in Canada until they realized Canadians don't want to pay for their private security.

This is a good point. I think since I have kids in those age categories (5 and 9), I can appreciate those movies through them. Would I choose to watch them on my own? Probably not. But I don't see Lightyear as bottom-tier because I can see how my kids engage with it, and how they engage with it more than with

I guess it's not for me. My favourite Final Fantasy game is probably Final Fantasy 9, menus and cartoonish art and all. I'm not particularly interested in the more cinematic hack and slash action direction the series has gone in.

Controversial I'm sure, but I preferred Lightyear to Toy Story 4. People say Lightyear was unnecessary, and I can't really argue with that, but Toy Story 4 was not only unnecessary but watered down a perfectly good and bittersweet ending to Toy Story 3.

Heck, I'm no celebrity and I still don't.

As in "re-animated corpses".

This is not only stupid but dare I say intellectually treacherous? Do we really want to go down this path?

Eat, Pray, Love was actually very out of character from her previous writing and kind of pigeonholed her, leading to an aggressively mediocre follow-up book about marriage that I started reading in a waiting room once. This project sounds like it could have been an interesting turn, though I probably wouldn't have

I have no particular justification for this but something seems off about this one. Maybe because the article is so convoluted and poorly written? I had no issue with tossing Jonathan Majors so I’m not trying to leap to male celebrity defense or anything. Maybe something is just lost in translation, maybe he was a bad

What’s kind of funny is that now when I watch something like Jurassic Park, I’m blown away by the practical effects. There's something to be said for using a mix of both.

Yes! I didn't imagine that, right?? I did a quick search before commenting and it was stuff from them saying they aren't against "companion animals" but I thought I remembered them being extremely anti-pet.

People would respect PETA more if they focussed on real issues of animal abuse and environmental collapse instead of treating every single practice they disagree with as morally equivalent. PETA doesn't even believe in pets anyway.

High five, fellow 2008 graduate. Though in my case, I hung out in grad school for two years afterwards, hoping to ride it out but just accumulating more debt in the process.

No comment on the movie, but I remember enjoying much of the book Dreamcatcher. I have ulcerative colitis, though, so was already halfway there on the horror.

They do, however, have pit moshes.
