Turning it around, do you really think criminalizing negligence will make people pay attention? If so, you need to spend more time around the average driver.

Riding a bike on a 60mph road seems like asking for trouble to me, assuming the photo at the end is of that stretch of road. But the article makes no mention of the speed limit, the driver’s speed, the position of the bikers on the road (shoulder or middle of the lane), or the characteristics of the road (was is a

Haha. This is Texas: cyclists are always presumed to be in the wrong because they should have been in a truck with firearms, like all normal people.

Cops dont give a shit about cyclists or pedestrians example infinity.

That’s what a large group of people thought last January. Didn’t work out so well.

If you work in a decent facility who actually cares about safety, and then follow the guidelines and don’t do anything stupid, there’s very little chance of an accident occurring.

That will go far, far worse than you think.

I put aggressive snow tires on my Insight and my wife’s Prius and we do just fine. In fact, the only accident I had in my Insight was when the Dodge Durango behind me couldn’t stop in the snow and rear ended me.

You absolutely can do that, and probably should. You are also right that AWD on snows will likely outperform 2WD on snows. The issue is people thinking they don’t need them because they have AWD.

Anything with good snow tires. AWD helps you get going and is great for snow driving, but unless the tires are good, steering and stopping leaves something to be desired. I have snow tires on my Alltrack and truck. The alltrack is a massive difference compared to [quality] all seasons, the truck is not quite as
