Hmmm - I sold my ‘17 GTI for less than $4K less than I paid for it new this past January. Hardly rock-like depreciation.

I don’t need AWD or 316hp. Can I just have one with 200-250hp and FWD, with a 6spd? With GTI suspension and plaid seats. I’d cheerfully pay $35K or so for it.

What brand is most ready to do the EV thing? Honda. Toyota has the RAV 4 Prime, and I’m 99% certain they make a big announcement within the year about their next generation all-electric crossover to compete with the Mustang Mach-E, Model Y, Hyundai Ionic 5, the Kia... I think it’s called something like 6? I don’t

Neutral: I reserved a Lightning last night.

Well wouldn’t Keystone have been utilize to move the most expensive and worst quality of oil, tar sand oil?

Can’t overstate how much more productive I am at home and how much more sane I am NOT dealing with traffic.

My brother had a main seal on his 2016 Highlander go out. With 55K miles. Everything’s pretty damn good and everything has some bad apples in the bunch.

Hey... my 2001 Golf has 300k miles and still operates fantastic, thankyouverymuch.

Yeah but how many O2 sensors and coil packs do you have to replace to get to 100k?

Even then they lasted longer. My ‘99.5 Audi had 214k on it when I junked it. I could have fixed it and kept it going, too. I didn’t because it was a pain in the ass and not worth the effort. Either way, the argument that German cars don’t last to 100k is bunk. My E46 has not quite 80k and, while it’s broken right now,

Worst factory wheels of all time? Enjoy cleaning those.

Inevitably there’s someone who gets really defensive about some brands. Unreliable doesn’t mean 100% of cars will fail at a predetermined mileage. It means the odds of problems are a lot higher than other brands and the risk will only increase with age.

Most of us have better shit to do

“Well, that’s what you get when youz guyz come down here actin’ like a buncha smacked-asses.”

I’ve got $5 that says it’s $68 worth of Dremel sanding and polishing bits followed by a case of SeaFoam.
