I'm 100% sure they did. I meant that because the initial user base is pretty small, even with compensation from Sony, the overall "sales" were probably low compared to what they would do for a higher install base.

Inquisition is longer than both ME and Origins put together, is part of what makes it stand out so much here, I think.
Okay, I'll take your word for it.
I've been trying to avoid as much of the story missions as I can and fully explore the other areas and complete all the quests. One reason is that I rushed through the story missions in Skyrim and once I finished them I had no drive to do any of the other stuff because it seemed so pointless. The other reason is…
Eh, I disagree. You might as well say that Skyrim has a filler problem, or any Bethesda title.
I don't mind the 'filler' in the areas themselves as it's at least something to do. What I hate is the pointless War Table stuff that adds barely anything the game but only lets you do up to 3 actions at once and some of those can last 24+ hours.
To be fair, the game tells you to leave the Hinterlands the moment you have 4 power. It flashes onto the screen and hangs out in the corner until you change your active quest. And attaining power to unlock new areas is pretty ridiculously easy from the midpoint of the game. You can literally buy it at a vendor.

Seriously, I'm playing through Dragon Age 2 for the first time right now.
They gave it to everyone for free for the first couple of months of the PS4.. Its no surprise they want to maximise their sales.
damn you roman numeration!!
The two aren't even remotely comparable. Tomb Raider was already confirmed for PS4 and was yanked post-reveal announcement to Xbox exclusive status in a move that created value for no one.
i was referring to Tomb Raider's announcement at last year's ms e3 press conference. The Internet exploded into a fit which turns out to be a timed exclusive. If it was announced to be Xbox One and PC, the outrage wouldn't be that much.
Can I just say something, Tomb Raider was mentioned and the media (including Kotaku) flipped. Youtubers made their videos about how tomb raider exclusive to Xbox is anticonsumer... Yet street fighter is console exclusive to PS4 and its fine.... And celebrated
good thing super streetfighter 5 championship ex-alpha burrito supreme edition will be out on ps4, xbone, ios, 3ds, and 3DO about 3 months after release
See Microsoft? If you want exclusive games, at least let the pc have it. This way, the Internet will not go into a rage.
There's certainly more than meets the eye with this toy Sega Genesis.
That was actually something I really liked. I never actually considered that a QTE because it's pretty much the core game mechanics to counter these things. That's why QTES really should involves consistent design.
QTEs don't have to suck. They also don't have to be life-and-death situations. When they're basically "press this to not restart the cutscene", they're terrible. In fact, when they're in a cutscene to begin with, they're bad. To make them good, they need to be optional, they need to be in the standard gameplay, and…
I hate QTE's.
