Beto is the golden lab of presidential candidates. Not much on substance, but plenty of positive energy and people view them as safe for families.

I think the frustration is the Dem’s blind adherence to that decorum, as if the Republicans will eventually grow a conscience and decide to play fair.

Like it or not, AOC and Omar are now Republican boogeywomen (?). So, any unforced error essentially reflects on the entire party. It would take evidence so damning, that Trump would sink the party for a generation or more. Meaning, so many people would sour on the Republican party (even after accounting for election tampering, gerrymandering, voter roll purges, etc.), that they would lose both houses and the presidency for a generation or more.

So this is the third or fourth book that have been critical of the Trumps based on interviews or actually being in the White House.  Serious question, how many similar books were published about Obama based on similar circumstances?

We should increase  budget for military intelligence and limited counter-terrorism operations (i.e. not an Iraq war) and cut the shit out of the remaining budget (weapons systems, etc.).  That counters the argument that military spending cuts somehow didn’t prevent a terrorist attack.
