I think there is a documentary coming out at some point; not sure what period of his life it covers but it’s mentioned in this article:

I don’t know about the heirs/friends thing either, but in doing some reading on this it seems like Shirley didn’t talk about his sexuality so I doubt there was some known domestic partner (...which is actually another issue with the movie).

Except the family says that him and Vallelonga weren’t friends. I can agree with your point to some extent, but in this case, I’m siding with the family that says the movie is full of inaccuracies vs the white savior movie written by the racist son about his father’s story (which to your point - son knows more about

YES. It’s making me crazy how many articles are writing “has apologized AGAIN.”

I agree, but I also do think that there wouldn’t be a woman with Ed Sheeran’s level of fame that would be able to get away with dressing like Ed Sheeran. It’d just be difficult for any woman in his genre to rise that far up wearing jeans and a t-shirt at every performance/press/etc.

My first job in NYC paid around $27K (while also having pretty hefty student loans), and I survived. There’s “affordable” housing everywhere if you’re willing to sacrifice a lot / have a lengthy commute / roommates. I think the point is, why are we all ok with this? Because I had to struggle to work in a low paying

Yes.. and because I definitely thought he was gay (publicly) but the internet doesn’t seem to be fully backing me up there.

Yeeeeeeeeears ago I saw Andy Cohen out at a restaurant with a former Top Chef contestant, and they were both being over the top in terms of trying to make sure everyone knew they were there. This was before Watch What Happens (when he used to sometimes show up on Bravo shows but wasn’t nearly as well known). I didn’t

Yeah.... same thing with Cheers (the Rebecca years especially). I get why Cheers is funny overall, but I’ve been rewatching it over the last few months, and I don’t know how I made it through season 6 with how mercilessly Sam was harrassing Rebecca.

I think it’s been a “secret menu” + kids meal item for a while; guessing this is rolling it out as an option to actually be listed.

As someone who almost didn’t answer a phone call from a very close friend this weekend because it felt exhausting- I agree.

There is a quote where he made a joke about keying Jason Bateman’s car. I haven’t listened to the audio, but I kind of took it as trying to move the conversation away from the topic even though clearly Jessica Walter wanted to say her piece. Still significantly less foot in mouth than EVERY OTHER DUDE PRESENT.

Agreed - this sounds exactly like what some people thought that led to a Trump election:

definitely the perfect alien

I completely agree. Was just throwing out some info I’d heard, definitely don’t think of it as an excuse for her behavior in the least and am not a fan of hers.

Not saying it’s ok, but I think she spent a lot of time hearing she was “too fat” to be famous and has a chip on her shoulder from it. I’d like to think she would learn why she shouldn’t blame “skinny bitches” at some point.. :/

Yup!

Similar, but Amy Winehouse died from alcohol toxicity (I think a lot of people think she had a drug overdose and I think it’s an important distinction that she died because she drank too much).

I was the opposite for a long time. I LOVED James Franco. Even if he wasn’t the best actor, he was going out and doing what he wanted - I’ll be on General Hospital even if people think that’s ridiculous, I’ll write this book, I’ll make this documentary, etc. It made me think I could just go out there and do whatever I

Not to suggest anything about Spielberg, because I haven’t heard anything like that.. but I’ve actually never put much thought into Shia LaBeouf’s behaviour and how “normal” he seemed as a child actor to change into the person he is known for now. Obviously it could’ve just been ego, but trauma would make sense too.
