I'm sure they are. I'm glad they got their new game and I wish Nintendo well with this new IP. I'm still allowed to be sore that my favorite Nintendo franchise didn't get a much deserved sequel.
After over a decade it pretty much does.
They said it was an announced game. They did not say it would be a new IP.
So 2D Metroid is dead then. No new sequel in over a decade.

It doesn't really suspend though, does it? I thought that basically closed out the game? Although if that is in there that is good but yeah, the standby function that they promised definitely isn't in there.
I know Dead Nation does something like that. True, it could be a developer thing but if that were just it then I'm sure Sucker Punch would have included it in Infamous SS.
See that's the weird thing. Sony hasn't mentioned it and it seems like everyone just forgot about it. I really hope that, and especially Game Suspending doesn't get forgotten about.

Is there any word on when the suspend feature will be added in on the PS4? And that remote play thing (not with the Vita) where someone can be watching you and you can surrender control to them to play that part for you?
