I think a major factor in how “easy” it was is definitely the fact that solving all the riddles was just a Google search away. Before we got somewhat bland “Kill X enemies, Kill y enemies, become a god in crucible” exotic quests. This was more than that. Relic hunting, two unique quests, a killer puzzle, a mediocre…

It really is a very good game as it was “released”, but it felt like they stopped just shy of the finish line.

DF abandoning this game made me sad. I feel I got my money's worth but I was hoping it would be more than just that. I'm glad fans are stepping up here.

There was a photo of a PowerPoint slide that showed their plan for the first two years of Destiny. It was from very early in the planning though so a lot was up in the air. That slideshow ended with the release of Destiny 2 to start year 3.

So you would prefer being required to pay $20+ for DLC, or a monthly fee, for more content instead of having optional cosmetic items that are completely optional but also fund free content for all users? That makes no sense to me. Don't like it? Don't buy anything and still get additional content.
