If had to pick one thing I miss from the current crop of Star Wars comics? It’s the sublime work that Ostrander & Durrsema put out. From Republic, through to Legacy, then back into the distant past for Dawn of the Jedi, their contributions to the lore of the Legends EU was just unparalleled. 

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: all of these reviews make me feel guilty for enjoying Anthem.

I’m going to be the odd one out and say that Lazarus is the one I’m most looking forward to, and probably their most promising option, at least from a standpoint of likely having relatively low budget requirements and presenting a compelling story that should adapt well to television.

Oh wow, this takes me back. I remember playing the original Fancy Pants as a browser game years ago- feels like it’s been about 10 years since the original? I remember it being a really smooth platformer, especially for a Flash game, so I may just give the Steam version a shot.

The general game-style may not be for all, but in my opinion FFIX’s backgrounds are among the most beautiful and consistent in the history of pre rendered backgrounds, if not the best.

Unfortunately, though, perception matters. And the vast majority of players only saw the aspects you mentioned and said, “Nah, I’m playing Overwatch” without actually looking into Battleborn and learning that it’s a totally different type of gameplay.

Seriously. The selective memory is astounding. And, while I enjoyed WW, there’s still Suicide Squad, BvS, MoS, not to mention all the nonsense around WB’s DC film slate announcements and de-announcements. Nope, I’m not convinced by this guy’s perspective, and I’ll wait til I see his mind-blowing cinematic exploration…

This is why appreciate HD Remake/Remaster. There are just too many games I’ve missed or simply want to re-play but just not possible.

Knights is one of the ones I begrudgingly accepted and stuck with. I really enjoyed one of the episodes in season 1 when the two characters are out in space (I know it’s a space anime and that’s a bit vague, but trying not to be spoilery here) and overall the show has my intrigue.

I’m still trying to grasp the point of her character.
