Oh wow, this takes me back. I remember playing the original Fancy Pants as a browser game years ago- feels like it’s been about 10 years since the original? I remember it being a really smooth platformer, especially for a Flash game, so I may just give the Steam version a shot.
The general game-style may not be for all, but in my opinion FFIX’s backgrounds are among the most beautiful and consistent in the history of pre rendered backgrounds, if not the best.

Moving around the environment is snappy, responsive, and satisfying, and I’m loving the wide variety of characters (and their humor) that I keep stumbling upon. The worlds are big enough to get lost in but no so big that you’re wasting all your time trying to get back to…
Most of original development team for Banjo Kazooie promises another Banjo Kazooie. Game releases and game “critics” complain that it’s too much like Banjo Kazooie......
If you hate Kotaku, then why are you on Kotaku?
I haven’t played much yet, but so far I like the game. Maybe that will wear off quickly, but it’s what I expected. Also...
