This looks like a job for...

That is ridiculously cool. Thank you.

Where's all the Bugs Bunny gifs cutting off Florida now?

I love this idea. I'm all about "What-If?" cars. I love games like the Driver series that have knock-off muscle cars because its nice to see something different that utilizes period styling. I look forward to more of this series.

Hi! I just bought my first (insert car name here). I got it off (auction or classified site) for (way too much money) and I don't really know much about cars at all, but it looked cool and I'm sure it'll be easy! What do I need to do to fix this car up? My budget is (half a week's paycheck). Take my hand and tell me

Excellent point. I'm stilll of the opinion that kammbacks and shooting-brakes shouldn't be lumped in with station wagons. A station wagon requires 4-doors for me to consider it a true station wagon. Chevy kind of did this by dubbing their shooting-brake "Nomad" to differentiate from their four door wagon model. Two

That is a relief. Thank you.

No complaints on the aesthetic. It's just chilling to realize that 1986 was 28 years ago.

A challenger appears!

My argument has been vindicated at last.

The Type 2 VWs were also called "station wagons" stateside until the "bus" nickname caught on.

I'm not arguing that they were original. Just pointing out that they did, in fact, build cars within their borders. This has gotten way more serious than the original joke was intended.

British built, innovative design that doesn't compromise utility for faux retro looks. No reason to hate from me.

That is not a 1996 Voyager. At the latest it's a 1986 Voyager.

Now, now. No need for insults. Japan AND Germany made cars before WWII (like this Mitsubishi Model A), but neither had the distribution to call themselves automotive superpowers until well after the war. I think that's what SlowLane meant when posting this.

If it had the original engine, it would be NP. I just don't trust unconventional engine swaps that I'm not personal witness to. CP.

He's a semi-aquatic Chrysler machine of destruction...

Great minds...

So many of them are bad choices due to crumpling and air bags everywhere. I pick the Chrylser 300 SRT-8 for power and pedigree. Fuselage Mopars from days of yore are the only cars to be outlawed from many demo derby meets for the same reason winged Mopars were banned from NASCAR.

"American cars from the 1950s..." Really? Is there no one that knows anything about cars/is over 30 working for ABC news?
