This is almost as sad as the Chrysler Turbine demolition footage.

Yep, that's definitely a replica, but that's still a pretty cool ride. If it were genuine, it would definitely be worth that price, but this is pure shenanigans (which Barris is regrettably notorious for).
@Tyson: ...won't my mommy be so proud of me?
@engineerd is functionally ЯetardeD: Ha! You're right. It plays right into his voice over cadence.
I thought a bison was where British people washed their faces.
Really? No one's said, "that'll buff out" yet?
@Miscellanea, now on the main floor!: It's funny because it comes from Seth Rogan. *see last week's family guy*
That's okay, I just got my Erson cam for the Flying Valiant's slant in the mail. I'm all set in the cam department.
Now where will we get our heart-healthy butter substitute?
@Rust-MyEnemy: It's like you read my mind. There are two Vista Cruisers around town that both look like they haul ass...of course, that defeats the purpose if they "look" fast.
@Slantsick, with Infinite Improbability Drive: Yeah, the Nova is pretty much like those blank robots in the Lucy Liu episode of Futurama. No style, but a generic platform anyone can throw parts at to suit.
I've had one of these for at least two years now. Flip nose and everything. Mine's in a shiny black though.
@Slantsick, with Infinite Improbability Drive: '77 Dodge Van, you say...? *runs to Wal-Mart*
I want to go to there.
@Slantsick, with Infinite Improbability Drive: Right there with you on this one. Am I the only one that sees a mid 70's Chevy Nova in the profile?
I love the enthusiasm of the flag waver in the headliner pic.
*drooooooool*
I want to go to there.
I've seen that car before! Here's a better picture of it. I'm digging the Firefly reference.
I still want to get me some of these.
