Look at what Call of Duty and Battlefield went thru when they were so heavily focused on esports. The general playerbase became more full of toxicity and elitist because people weren’t playing at the “pro” level. Black Ops 2 casual and league modes were two different worlds, socially.

It doesn’t matter, the whole era was filled with WWII shooters. And continued through the first part of 360/ps3 era. This just shows dev ran out of ideas.

Wasn’t so much the setting, but the gameplay. Black Ops II was futuristic but still grounded, semi-standard CoD gameplay but they made it fresh without making you run along walls.

The main game is actually pretty great. Play it the way you want, whether it’s careful & strategic or loud and frantic. It works well, both always, with a few flaws. You have to play the game freely. I love this game so much. Even the multiplayer.

I feel like there is a physics and handling tweak the comes with it, that may make other things kinda wonky.

They really put so much new shit gameplay wise into a SINGLE map, it’s odd that Zombies hasn’t been it’s own continually updated game at this point.

The tree thing is EXTREMELY noticeable in Far Cry 4. All you have to do is fly up. Rotate around and you’ll see 2D sprites rotating with the camera.
