Yes and no. Yes on smaller government and lower taxes. But no when regards to personal liberties. It depends on what matters to you from the Democratic Party. Who’s to say that if they did purchase Nintendo that they didn’t let the company run independently maintaining the status quo but with larger coffers and more IP to use? Imagine Nintendo as the videogame arm of Disney producing future starwars, Marvel universe, etc games.

Forgive me if I’m wrong, but Nintendo being a publicly traded company, I don’t think Japan has shit to do with the potential purchase of Nintendo if/when it even happens. Simply speculation and I only brought it up because of the history of Disney’s purchases of media companies.

Not at all surprising. Nintendo has some of the strongest IP. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they were Disney’s next purchase. Think of a Nintendo themed part at Disnseyland.
