I played Spider-Man 2 on the hardest difficulty and it was honestly not that difficult until the very end. I think I died five times before the final boss, and then of course died a jillion times at the end. I didn’t mind though, because the end is when the game should be the most difficult.

That’s one of my biggest gripes about “Jedi: Survivor”. How am I playing a game on PS5 in 2024 and I still have to sit through 15-30 seconds of fucking loading screen every time I die. I wish EA had never bought Respawn.

I’m on the “Normal” equivalent in “Jedi: Survivor” right now. Legitimately, if I die it’s because I stupidly fucked up and not the game being stupidly difficult. I’ve been shocked how much easierSurvivor” has been compared to “Fallen Order”.

The TMNT game based on TMNT the 2007 animated movie was surprisingly good. Shredder's Revenge is also pretty good.

Ocarina wasn't that great. The mechanics were clunky as shit.

The last I played before Sword/Shield were Gold/Silver. I bought Sword and it was terrible. Arceus changed the formula enough to keep me playing to the anticlimactic end. I don’t think I’ll ever play another one.

Pokemon games were always made for children, so playing as an adult hasn't been as fun.

Definitely this. I consult guides if I can’t figure out a puzzle or beat a boss in 5-10 minutes.

Most FPS games. Unless they have an intriguing story like BioShock, or a fun gimmick, they’re all just Doom/GoldenEye /CoD clones.

There was a story during the four year nightmare that she had their pre-nup renegotiated. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s out prepping divorce papers when Trump is most assuredly going to be in prison, broke, or both by the end of the year.

It's surprising that this is surprising. The same shit gets said in every industry, and nothing changes...in every industry.

You can’t be so stupidly naive to think it’s that simple. I have friends laid off in 2020 that are still looking for a *good* job three years later.

The only manipulation of the market is by the wealthy. Robinhood and Citadel changed the rules for retail investors when they were making too much money during the GameStop thing.

A driver who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of retaliation told BI that he was offered $400 severance pay if he stuck around through his February 5 layoff date. “The money they are giving us as severance pay is a slap on the face,” he said. “It comes to $3 a month for nine-plus years of service.”

I think I went to one of these and it was not worth $20.

If he’s impressed with how Dollar General does business, it’s probably a nightmare to work for him, just as it is to work for Dollar General. John Oliver did an episode on that company and they're terrifying.

There was also one guy who really limbered up for a big stretch, claiming that kids these days don’t take pride in hand washing their cars, so they go to drive-thru car washes instead.”

I drove 100mph on a busy-ish highway with a 55mph limit

Complicity in sexual assault and discrimination rewarded him with a golden parachute. The true American Dream.

Cops exist solely to fuck with people or fuck people up. They're not protecting or serving anyone.
