RCS didn’t need carrier support either. There’s a conflation of facts happening because RCS has been around forever.

Sounds like a simple case of evolution to me. The target demographic isn’t religious/conservative women born in the 1950s and 60s anymore.

If Apple had just supported RCS six years ago (around the time it became a thing in Google Messages), this never would’ve happened.

ACAB. Being a cop is the only job in America that rewards you with a paid vacation for gross incompetence, murder, and dereliction of duty.

I skimmed through it after the fact and it only reinforced my desire to see a race anywhere else but here. Luckily I’ve already planned to visit Montreal next year.

Stroll qualified third in Brazil because the last minute storm made the track colder. I predict an Alonso win in Vegas, and maybe a Stroll podium if he can manage to not suck horribly for another weekend.

Good choice. We traveled the U.S. for six weeks as one mega “let’s get it over with” trip after seeing most everything else we wanted to. Everywhere was expensive, even the South. Hawaii was actually cheaper in some regards than California. Food is cheaper in general in Europe, and there’s no tipping.

Well they are fans of traumatic brain injuries, so not exactly the brightest people looking for sophisticated entertainment.

They have a streaming service. Just watch the replay.

F1 subscription service. It's $10/month. Just watch it the next morning.

Exactly this. They don't want to split the money 11 ways instead of 10.

“you have to be up at absurd hours to watch”

I’d prefer they stop racing here when all the pre-race stuff is so stereotypically American which ruins the excitement. I see and hear enough about rich people I don’t give a fuck about on a daily basis.

I wanted to go to this but after being in Vegas earlier this year and the Uber driver saying they were way behind schedule getting the track built, I'm happy I didn't get tickets.

The solution to this is simple:
