All I can think about when Baseball is on is how bored I am. Felt the same way playing too. Basketball can't be boiled down to two guys trying to play catch but there's an asshole with a bat between them.

This show is easily up in the Breaking Bad, Succession etc. tier of great TV shows, but it won’t ever be taken as seriously because it’s fantasy/science fiction.
