I’m sure if Nintendo could have gone directly from Wii to Switch, they would have. The price you pay is the price all early adopters pay, but it also meant that you got to play most of this years ago. Just remember, Nintendo did not want the WiiU to fail and tried to keep it going as long as they reasonably could.

Nintendo ignoring the rumours completely the past few weeks, and then 2 days ago suddenly posting a random image of a bird on its twitter made people go banana’s.
