That’s a great way to put it. My favorite car ever is the Citroën DS, which is kind of the epitome of “oh my god it looks like a UFO, that’s real?!” That same feeling is why I like the Cadillac Celestiq so much, and the stuff the Hyundai brands are doing

There’s also the fact that in 1961, the original E-Type looked like a spaceship. That, more then anything, connects this to the E-Type. The fact that it’s a classic now that they’ve been clinging to almost does it a disservice.

I think the Cherokee started that.

207 inches long? The 2 door? Are you fucking kidding me? What does it weigh, like 6000 pounds? I hope whoever buys this owns a tire store.

Sadly, fine Corintian leather will be hit with tariffs.

People may want to ignore politics but politics never ignores them.

Or perhaps, a Cordoba! Stellantis is struggling to find a purpose for Chrysler beyond minivans.

If they could engineer the headlights to shine directly into the review mirror of anyone who happened to be in front of this thing, they’d increase sales by about 50%.

this is how you detail and photograph a car to maximize its appeal...Everybody who puts up a car for sale with their half-finished slushie in the cupholder and dirt and leaves on the floor mats, take note

I miss the American Luxury coupe too but not from Dodge. Give me a Lincoln MKVIII successor. Fit it with the ecoboost engine or even crazier throw the Cobra engine in it and make a new LSC. The only one who actually could build an American luxury coupe at the moment is Cadillac but they haven’t done that in quite some

It’s a shame ignorant fatass trumpers hate this car.

Damn it, it’s a right car, but wrong price.

From a design standpoint, the old Challenger was one of the greatest, if not the greatest modern interpretation of a classic car ever made. This new Charger, from the pictures at least, man, it just really isn’t doing anything for me.... We have to go back!

I agree that shitheads will make this EV fail (and that sucks because it furthers the “EV’s don’t work” mentality). Having said that, this is the first Stellantis/Chrysler product since... probably the Neon ACR that makes me say not bad. The interior is even... nice?

Maybe they will find a new clientele.  We’ll have to wait and see.  I’d buy the 4 door version.

Not having a manual and needing a sedan is why the Charger never was a consideration for me. I wanted a Chevy SS, but they were too damn expensive, and I’m certainly not paying MSRP money for one a decade later.
The TR6060 is pretty versatile. All it needs is a bellhousing. Of course, with the incoming assclown

It’s a twin turbocharged inline 6, not a V6

The last hemis were in the early 70s so you’re already a dupe either way I suppose

Dodge buyers are the last people I would expect to be interested in EVs of any kind

Imagine being one of the people that paid far too much for the last generations “Last of the Hemi” price gouging and seeing this.
