But an alleged new plot synopsis could imply the exact opposite—that we’re getting a movie so achingly ‘90s that it practically oozes MC Hammer pants and Marky Mark.

I saw the Grant Gustin mustache in the video preview still and thought we were looking at a time.

I just wanted to point out that NY strangely (like Maryland and D.C.) refers to its top appellate court as the Court of Appeals, so this opinion was issued not at “an early stage of appeal”, but actually by the state’s court of last resort. And a reading of the opinion seems to show that it got intermediate appeals

Looks like they’ve been dating graduates of the Eddie Murphy School of Mackery.

I like Steph Curry, who certainly, even going back to his breakout tourney at Davidson, gives every indication of being a solid guy. But this clip always makes me doubt whether I should. But maybe he’s so sincere that the idea of making sure he looks sincere doesn’t even occur to him

Way too many of these stories include a manager who refuses to back his/her employees.

Sad factoid...the actor who played the, uh...cook at the diner Vito patronized killed himself in 2008 or so.

It continually amazes me that the Pick the Best Person Brigade never seems to care to do much examination of the culture, the process, or themselves for so often finding that a white person is the best.

I meant to add...anybody seeing the possibility of a Tyrion-Missandei-Grey Worm love triangle?

It’s another sort of defining choice, and it’s pretty clear that Ser Alliser has already chosen — he just didn’t want to betray Jon publicly, in front of all his men.

Why wait for GRRM to finish the series when we can find someone to help us make OUR OWN three headed dragon?

You have me feeling like a dying Snape, because all I can think about is those eyes.

When I watch old episodes I find myself wondering (mostly jokingly) if one commentary the show was trying to make was about the unavailability of good men in the ‘90s, as Elaine was so often into the bummiest dudes. If only I had been an adult TV character instead of a real life child in 90’s...

My favorite is the fact that Arya looks like L and J looks like Arya.

I saw Season 1 then read the books, so I didn’t have an untainted conception of the appearance of the primary characters like a lot of Sullied do. However, between being a Stark, a bastard, and eventually a leader in the Night’s Watch, Kit’s sullen mien feels right to me.

I don’t listen to much of this kind of (or really much of any new) music, but this would sound right at home on Haim’s “Days Are Gone” album. Good stuff.

Do you mean that she saw one of her actual children or that she saw her children in those kid wights, even though they were not actually her children?

I like Sam and Gilly (“Silly”?), but “more Sam and Gilly mouth-breathing scenes” is a hilarious phrase.

“The King of Queens” is one of my absolute favorite shows (legitimately well-written, well-acted, and quite funny), and I really enjoyed her in it. She had talent, a long and successful career, and long-lasting, seemingly deep romantic and familial love. It’s unfortunate that we all have to go, but she appears to have

And Chuck is usually considered to actually be somewhere in the 6’4-6’5 range.
