There was a story about a year ago here and elsewhere that the Sci-Fi Channel (I very much don’t want to call it Syfy) would be adapting it into a mini-series, but I’ve not heard anything since.

Dolan does seem to be a pretty mean-spirited jerk, but I'd say it's pretty generous to call the criticisms "relatively mild-mannered".

He could use his vast array of powers in concert to teleport or time travel, but doing so weakened him (the extent depended on the strain/length of the journey), so he also had a powersuit for those periods of vulnerability.
