I have the VR Worlds disc on PSVR and you play it sitting down. Resident Evil 7 also uses the normal controller for movement. You use a lot of head movement though for turning, aiming and sometimes ducking.

No in most cases you can play games with both controller or pads and standing or sitting. You just adjust your camera and recenter your position and you should be fine. I almost never play standing.
