Holy fuck. Are any of them still in the country to sue the bejesus out of? I mean, them knowing and doing sweet FA surely could give you *some* opportunity to make the people responsible feel the heat a little?

I don’t know how you haven’t won. And I’m a mentally ill obese heroin addict with nightly sleep paralysis living in poverty on methadone who just found out that her body metabolizes methadone so quickly that no amount of it will take me out of withdrawal. I’m stuck in perpetual active opiate withdrawal.

So I needed a procedure and I was recommended to a doctor who was supposed to be “the best in performing this procedure in THE WORLD!” So I went for a consultation with this 59 year old doctor. And so he looked at me for literally one minute and tried to sell me on the insertion of some large plastic item into my body…

I am so fucking sorry. This is a stark warning of what a for-profit medical system creates, ethics far too easily can go out the window when a doctor hears “kerching” every time a patient arrives.

I wish I was surpised, but I’m not.

When doctors turn bad, it’s the worst. They’ll cripple you just because they want the money, or because they feel like it, or because they are in a hurry, or because they were on call and you made them miss their golf game. And none of the other doctors ever calls them out, even though it is the 5-10% of abusive or…

I would hope that Interpol or something would be involved. Sounds serious enough that the law wouldn’t just let this fly.

This thread literally has me in tears. So much tragedy here. Not to minimize or make this in to some kind of a contest, but this story touched me the most. Just so incredibly awful that a human being(i use this term lightly here) would do this to another human being they are supposed to help.
