I’ll be honest with you - once they announced the Alfa Giulia wouldn’t have a manual option and the new 3 Series said they wouldn’t offer one either, it’s pretty much the end. Glad Porsche didn’t abandon it with the new 911, but I can see this being a swan song.

All cars with T-tops are cool. That’s just science.

Since high school i dreamt of the z32. Finally got one w/ low miles last month and i cant stop looking at it :stupid drool face:

Salesman: "You don't have to look at front end while driving it! Oh, okay, maybe in the reflections of clean pickup tailgates, but that's it!"

They were fired, not because of the “no more cars” plan but because they didn’t boldly take it far enough:

I spent $750 on a 1989 Cavalier. Which was probably wildly overmarket.

I have a 2018 Volks sportwagen manual turbo AWD with the retractable glass roof (basically a Targa).

I was planning to sell my manual 135i because I have too many cars. Yesterday, I took it out on a spirited drive in the santa cruz mountains - to pick up 50 lbs of tomatoes - with the kids. One of them threw up. But I had a goddamned blast and changed my mind on the sale.

It looks like the BMW Edsel went a little too far.

I don’t expect anyone to know this, but before I quit my desk job to write about cars for a living I sold Porsche parts over the telephone and online for a decade. I worked at Stoddard, Auto Atlanta, and ECS Tuning (which is under the same umbrella as Pelican now). I’m very familiar with the Sebros, ATEs, Zimmermans,

(with a different grille)

I’m not seeing the Ram 1000 on this site. Just the 700.

Back in the 1980's our local dodge dealer sold tons of Dodge D50's (Mitsubishi clone) Best little truck I ever had and there are still several running around here in the foothills of the Sierra.

Ah, my two favorite things converge, Raiders of the Lost Ark and cars!

Fred Gwynne’s last acting role.

This is what I think of when I hear Mercury Montego

Ah, the good old days when you had the choice of 2-door, 4-door, B pillar or no B pillar, vinyl or no vinyl, plus a wagon version, maybe a fastback, and hoods long enough to play hockey on.

Unpopular opinion: They’d sell more of these if they offered it with the DCT found in the ILX.
