You don’t know how the driver Uber app works. You can cancel a ride as the driver even after you start and choose not to charge them.

As a driver even if you started the ride you can cancel and choose don’t charge rider as long as you already haven’t ended the ride.

well I think the compromise would be to put in on them - ask if it works better for their schedule to move the interview to another day or is it better to start todays interview X amount of minutes late.

if there are enough drivers on at any given time then I dont see why this is an issue that people have to pre-schedule.

I think the issue might be people getting confused and thinking they are doing a cash advance with their CC if it involves a PIN since that is the only time right now in the US that you need a pin with a CC

so this is apparently subject to the city but I know in PGH Lyft starts the meter as soon as the driver arrives. If you are at the curb or take 10min to come out of the club you are paying either way.

Right now both Lyft and Uber make you wait 5 minutes and try to call at least once before they award the cancel fee. So…

i think thats their “refuel” plan side. Pulse gives you an amount of data a month that might have rollover but you are still getting that amount every month.

yeah well thats why they were supported. When you have a shitty job or no job at all because the mills closed you put all of your emotions and self worth into your sports teams - if they succeed its like you succeeded and youre both winners!

IDK I totally get that icky feeling that comes with cultural appropriation with most of these videos but then if I put it into a context of my favorite artist who didnt grow up or even ever live in my hometown shooting a music video here, using local talent, and showcasing local landmarks I would be fucking psyched.
