I don't want to pretend that the current setup is ideal - it isn't. But someone traveling having access to 2 smartphones or a smartphone and a mifi or a smartphone and a tablet isn't unreasonable. Plus some of us still have unlimited data and usually my phones connection is way faster than the hotel wifi.
