It’s unfortunately very clear that either their business model wasn’t sustainable and they’re scrambling to fix it, or their investors are pressuring them to increase profits (turn a profit?) ASAP.

You might be thinking of the 12 Dancing Princesses, mentioned by Adrastra above:

The background/staging for Taylor Swift’s performance reminds me of the Birthday Massacre’s cover for their Walking with Strangers album.

I’m so sorry for what you’re going through.

After an incredibly shitty 2015, my resolution for 2016 is to treat myself more kindly. That means exercising 3x week, drinking less and eating more healthfully, and trying not to tear myself apart quite so much over real or perceived mistakes.

Unless you’re being disruptive, no one should ever feel mad at you in a yoga studio! You might need to try different studios to find the right fit, though: I started practicing yoga in early 2015, and there are definitely studios in my area that I’ve only been to once (the one with the “beginner” class teaching

C9 and Old Navy; I also have Jockey shorts and capris, but the color-fastness on the capris is not as good as I would like. I splurge on sports bras because I’m very curvy.

The sizing is definitely inconsistent: shirts seem to run very long, and their tank tops in particular baffle me (I can’t wear their tanks without breaking obscenity laws). That being said, I love their activewear t-shirts for cardio: the fabric really does wick away sweat, and they have held up nicely after a year of

I’m sorry that you’re going through this.

I’ve had ClassPass for several months now and have had nearly all positive experiences, with the one negative experience being studio- rather than ClassPass-caused. I commute, so on weekdays I’ll take classes near my office, and on the weekend I take at least one near my home. Before ClassPass I was pretty sedentary

There’s definitely tons of validity in the passing idea.

I like Natori's Power Yogi bra, although I find its straps a little fiddly. However: the bra can convert from a regular back to a racer back, and while it looks like it should cause the dreaded uniboob, it doesn't: there are cups and underwires under there. I like that the bra provides full coverage.

The money thing is also a pain. My mother had to deal with my uncle doing that a number of years ago, even after she had guardianship. I think a precious few banks actually look for behavior like that as a warning sign that the person may have dementia or be getting scammed, but most are totally clueless.

I continue to be baffled by how baffling certain banks seem to find the concept of guardianship. Nearly three months ago I sent a letter with a court order asking the bank to give me authority over a relative's credit card account because I am her guardian, and send the bills to my house. Yes, a letter - because

Triglycerides, maybe. And even when you have no cholesterol/sugar problems, sometimes doctors want to check fasting levels of those. Maybe they want a good idea of your "normal"?

It's completely nuts - but this is the internet, and there's no one to ask commenters, "are you sure what you just typed isn't batshit insane?" I mean, on the same article there are people claiming that ebola is a hoax.

Do yourselves a favor and don't read the comments on the Dallas Morning News article. People are calling her all sorts of horrible things on the grounds that she should just be grateful to be alive and that it's her own fault for getting ebola (ebola!) - never mind that it was the hospital's incompetence that

Around the time when these were popular, I was just starting to be allowed to wear jeans. Previously my mother had insisted I wear stirrup leggings all the time.

That's what I came up with using logic, although getting confirmation of this on the IRS' website seems to be a challenge. I'm hoping to use the IRS' "free file" stuff, which was what I used the last few years to do my taxes - if you make under a certain amount, you can use professional tax software.

Are there any YWCA/YMCA's near you? They usually have gyms and fitness programs. Also people use Meetup to run exercise groups - I suspect mostly running and hiking. If there's really nothing at all, could you try and create a schedule for yourself, or enlist a friend or coworker to start a group with you?
