You know full well what the term living wage means. Don’t be pedantic.

That stuff was all mostly true for their generation. Then they jacked up the cost of college, stagnated wages so that they didn’t match inflation, gave themselves raises while the world burned, and then dismissed all of our complaints as ‘millenial entitlement.’

I don’t care if they get better jobs. I just want a job that pays a ‘living’ wage. Any job. I don’t need to be rich to be happy. I just want to be able to eat.

That’s exactly it. The boomers fucked over two generations of people, then have the gall to turn it around and tell them it’s their own fault. Right... it’s our fault you imploded the economy, ignore climate change, give no shits about providing a living wage, raised college tuition to obscene amounts, and ride off

We should stop paying baby boomers their outrageous wages then, too, because all they’ve done with it is fuck up the entire planet beyond repair.

It’s good to know that I’m not in the target market for this. You know, people that bought a 3DS shortly before the new 3DS was even announced and doesn’t want to plop down for an entirely new system that doesn’t bring much benefit. But hey, if Nintendo wants to leave money on the table then that’s their prerogative.

It sounds to me like Bungie regrets doing anything Destiny and desperately wishes it could get out from under it. That 10 year plan is looking pretty great.

Babies. Babies happen.

You jest, but a Sonic inspired Pokemon would be pretty neat!

Haha, don’t worry, I’m a part of the older demographic too. I’m old enough to remember playing Atari as the best we had.

The nice thing about these strategy titles, too, is that they can be played in smaller chunks of time. With adult responsibilities and kids it’s pretty tough to get any real game time in, so an hour

I had that issue too, but then I started to dig around at other games for it. Bravely Default, Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Fire Emblem, and Pokemon were enough to sway me to pick one up. I’ve been pretty happy with the purchase. But yar, beyond those titles I haven’t delved into much else.

Fire Emblem, however, while

There are definitely decent RTS games for consoles. Hell, my introduction to the genre was through Red Alert on Playstation. But they still fail to capture a wider base on consoles, and all of them have been fairly average compared to the great experience you can get out of them on PC.

I’m hopeful that games like

The rise of Fire Emblem has probably done a lot to turn some heads too. The genre is slowly clawing its way out of niche status.

Not stupid at all. I’m being mostly not serious (mostly), but by abomination I’m more or less denoting the fact that I don’t think the game is very good. So yes, strongly disliked is definitely apt. The game does have its supporters though, so it’s mostly just my opinion. :-)

I have a feeling the decline of RTS is almost entirely linked to the fact that they don’t port well onto consoles. Consoles can probably run them just as well these days, but there’s no way to truly match how they play on a mouse and keyboard.

From a developer standpoint, this can be tricky, because it drastically

Last I knew Square held the rights to the series, as acquired through Enix (or maybe it was when they bought out Quest?) Atlus was only a publisher. Either way I’m fairly certain that the series is in the hands of Square Enix.

Edit: This link gives a decent breakdown of it;

“...Also because it’s one of the greatest Final Fantasy games and one of the greatest games of all time that still holds up great and has one of the most charming casts of characters ever conceived.”

Fair enough, but your original statement has that quote from it. That sounds more like you are positing a fact, not an

In one respect, this kind of revival was inevitable. Gaming, for years, has been defined by their ability to make great graphical leaps forward. Think SNES-N64-PS1-PS2, etc, and how much better each new generation looked compared to the previous.

However, while improvements are still being made, the way they look is

I don’t understand the FFIX love. It’s a decent game, not bad by any means, but greatest of all time? Not even close. Then again, I don’t understand people that love the abomination that is FFVIII. Not that I’m one to talk, as I myself have a fondness for FFX.

My point is, the series is really good all around - but
