It’s not in portrait mode, so at least there’s that.

you left off NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN...
The crew were definitely shaking in their boots. I realize that Americans get our fair share of propaganda and half-truths but at least we’re better at disguising it.
Dont know about a Guided Railgun round, I think we are still many years off from that. I believe the best you are going to get from a Railgun in the next 20 years will probably be un-guided, which quite honestly, is probably fine for what we would use it for.
Tyler, you have got to stop posting articles on Iowa class battleships and P51 Mustangs. I have had a love affair since I was a wee lad back in the 1950s. Anyone who has seen one of the Iowas in person or has heard a broadside knows that these ships project power. The thing that makes me smile is that all 4 of…
Railguns and guided shells are going to bring naval artillery back in a major way.
These guns represent the end of the evolution of naval artillery, a style of warfare practiced since the 1300s! Though, I suppose the new magneto-fired guided shells could be considered artillery, too.
This awesome video, shot on May 16th, 1991, documented the last time the Iowa Class Battleship USS Wisconsin (BB-64)…
They’ve watched what the US has done and they realized that if they just do it a little bit at a time, at a time when the American public’s appetite for war is low, they have a decent chance of getting away with at least some of it.
I would have to agree with you the sad truth is the United States has allowed the Chinese military to pretty much run loose in the Pacific unchallenged and only now are trying to do something decades late in the game smh..
I do not think China is trying to prevent a war. They are waving their dick around the South China Sea and daring the rest of us to do something about it. China wants to become a global power while adhering to their strong cultural bias towards keeping their business within their own borders. The trick is to manspread…
The future is going to be an interesting place...
I think the jamming is more about trying to jam the SAR payload versus navigation. Google ‘jamming SAR’ and there you will find a 2013 paper from National University of Defense Technology, Changsa China. If all our pictures come back useless, then who cares if it’s flying over your not-so-secret sea base.
Tyler, I’ll give you props man. You called the South China sea conflict before anyone else. Now, there are all kinds of articles on Yahoo about how the South China sea is boiling.
That’s right, you can go and bid on this intact 1944 P-51D Mustang that has not flown since the 1970s for same price…

“Oh. Move east? I thought you said weast.”- tug captain, to the harbor pilot.
I’ve been to the monument but it was a long time ago. Just from memory, it wasn’t very close to anything. I don’t anything about ships and boats so I have no idea. I just remember there being a lot of room around it. I’m sure the people that caused this feel incredibly awful. I hope it doesn’t turn out to be someone…
The hospital ship seems to have arrived roughly 73 years and six months late.
