Probably the effect of using a wide-angle lens due to a low ceiling in the studio causes the exaggerated front track. I haven’t looked at the specs, but the car may actually have a wider front track to improve load transfer during cornering.

My understanding from having spoken with a Mazda dealer critter is that dealers in the northeast and midwest are only getting the Touring and Grand Touring trims in AWD, which combined with it being a brand new model results in an artificial scarcity that gives them an excuse to demand higher prices.

If they want to be really pedantic about it, they’ll build the Titanic II with a 300-foot-long gash on her starboard hull. Preferably below the water line. Bonus points for launching the hull in two pieces.
