Great post, Darren. I missed a couple of these along the way. Just got Acorns and am really excited to see my change grow!
No lint is a big one for me!
The big trend I've noticed is that the local Goodwills/Salvation Armies/thrift stores are ransacked by all the small "vintage" (or whatever) boutiques and cleaned out of every single Ugly Christmas Sweater. Then boutiques mark them up 300% and sell them to suckers.
This is really stunning! That view from the bedroom is killer. I like all the concrete too. A lot of people find it cold. But used in the right way with other elements, like brick and wood here, I think it is really warm and inviting.
One Christmas, long ago the only booze available for our nog was a bottle of (apparently) nice Almond Tequila some one's mom had brought back from a Mexican cruise. We went for it. It was incredible!
Because that's just what chefs do....
No ducks on the list? That is what I am making for Christmas dinner this year.
I love that one.
I want everything here!
Easy bruschetta comes to mind.
As a (on-again, off-again) stone mason, I approve this message.
Ha, I'd say that the human characters were supposed to be forgettable in Dawn. It wasn't really about them. Let's call it #11?
I just caught this on Netflix the other night. I loved it. Very well executed. Doesn't beat you over the head with explanations either. It just kind of lets some of the mystery linger - and I like that. Imagination is good!
AGREED. She simultaneously seemed totally lovable and down-to-earth and yet completely ethereal and above-it-all. I really enjoyed that interview.
My mother delivered both myself and my brother with a mid-wife, but in a small hospital. And I think it's probably the best of both worlds for all the reasons so far mentioned. Healthy mothers/babies don't need doctors during deliveries if all goes well. But if there is an emergency, you're already in the right place.
Yeesh...
Here here! (Though it was Ridley Scott that said it.)
The only reason I don't still drive my Jetta is because it was totaled a few months ago :( So I bought a used Honda. It was stolen within a month.
It gave me a Jetta, which is what I used to drive. Lol, I thought it would be way out of left field.
