No, it won’t. Every aftermarket addition lowers the price, not raises it. If the seller really wanted something special then they’d sell it as bone stock. Just because they spent that on it, doesn’t mean that it is worth that. ND.

If you can get one LOL.
I had a 1993 Dodge Stealth RT Twin Turbo back in 1993 and into 1994. It had 30K miles on it and was already having problems with the electronic suspension and other items.
The fact that Jalopnik is writing a news story about a Honda plant output and not those fucking rad-ass vans in the lede image is everything that’s wrong with this site right now.
I know it’s not a good excuse in 2022 for them not to make it standard, but an audio engineer friend was complaining/explaining that the wireless chargers wreak havoc on the audio systems (and many other systems) in the car because of huge amounts of interference. So it makes sense that they would design one audio…
“$53,595 for the Base trim, $57,745 for the Premium package. The latter adds full leather seats, more speakers and wireless phone charging.”
but nobody is gonna want to pay $10k over MSRP for what’s “just” a Corolla.
If you think 36k is expensive just wait for the delicious dealer markups. I’m guessing the base is gonna be around 45k and the top trim will probably cut around 60k.
In the current market, the stated MSRP is fictional. *IF* you can find one, they’ll have massive markups tacked on. Even if a dealer is selling them for MSRP, you’ll get a response like “Our allocation is already pre-sold”, or some such.
These are not FWD but AWD. It doesn’t share much parts under the surface with a normal Corolla.
You’re like, kidding, right?
You mean the dealers themselves?
Seems like a pretty sweet deal in this time of rising prices and inflation; honestly if you can look past the fairly “meh” interior, it’s pretty good value*
Good. She should be in jail for an incredibly long time. Why is somebody with 13 previous car crashes allowed anywhere near a motor vehicle? You should have scooter privileges only after multiple documented self-caused wrecks.
... where’s the Lexus outrage?
1. Yes, they absolutely will once this has all blown over (I already pay for a few software features like Google maps, traffic, weather, etc. in my car)
That wouldn’t be awesome at all. That’s just wasteful, as those resources could be used elsewhere.
While I was never really in the market for a BMW, I certainly will not buy any vehicle that requires a subscription to use features that the vehicle already has hardware for. Same with a motorcycle. Yes, I’m looking at you, Zero.
I think what BMW is doing is fantastic!
