NYC doesn’t have alleyways. Common misconception - probably from movies.

The concept is cool but the execution is way off. How are FiDi and Midtown both under 10 feet of water? One is 10 feet above sea level and then other is 60 feet above sea level. Also, 39th and Lex is shown as being under about 10 feet of water but Grand Central’s concourse (which is 20 or so feet under street…
Ok that makes sense. Aside from Western Europe not embracing extinction academically speaking, there were other cultures that certainly understood the complete disappearance of species. Tribes all over the world have folklore about now-gone giant animals that scientists recognize as the pleistocene era megafauna…
“they were the first species known to have gone extinct because of humans” Ummm that’s not right.
Nope. There are three lines under Central Park
“Remove New Yorkers from the urban experience” Ugh. If you want to remove yourself from the urban experience take a quick ride on the train up to Dutchess county. It’s lovely. No reason to mess with one of the most expertly designed parks the world has ever known. Not that this proposal is in any way possible - but…

Unless you’re gonna give me that stupid “in the future everyone will have hobbies, not jobs” argument then yes, possible has to equal profitable.
You do realize that the very blog you are reading would not be possible without ads, right?
My company’s head of PR has the last name of Press. My mom used to go to a dermatologist named Dr. Noskin.
The majority of the country is absolutely not rural. The vast majority of Americans live in cities and suburbs.
You took that post way too seriously.
I don’t think you understand how Philips Hue works. It uses a proprietary ZigBee antenna and transmission protocol. I highly doubt Apple is putting Philips’ proprietary tech in its hubs. Additionally, Apple has never been associated with any Zigbee working groups. Looks like Apple wants to rely on IP, WiFi and…
Good point. I’ve argued the same thing. I was speaking narrowly about the global similarity between the designs.
I’d add the most men don’t need antiperspirants. Deodorants work just fine. It took me YEARS to realize excess perspiration I experienced was actually due to irritation from the aluminum in antiperspirants. Switched to Speed Stick regular and I’ve been dry ever since.
