Yeah its never just ONE thing, it’s always a combination of factors. Giving the benefit of the doubt—a mistake I always regret—I think the original poster is probably just not familiar with how often nazis and white supremacists like to use code and co-opt signs and such.

E3 was only irrelevant as a platform to host trailers/advertisements that could be uploaded to Youtube. It was still very relevant as a way for industry professionals to meet, collaborate, make deals, network etc etc.
