“But when you ask them what these two people might have in common or why a man that age specifically is avoiding women his age then they nope out of the conversation real quick.”

I’m curious what they wouldn’t have in common? Both would have family, friends, hobbies, interests, schooling/studies in their history. Travel

It’s always been fascinating to me that PC gamers constantly get mad about DRM and blame any form of the software for even the slightest performance flicker, all while simultaneously craving the idea that every game possible show up on Steam—the largest piece of DRM software in PC gaming existence.

All 109 games eh? Damn, with a library that big who could be unhappy?

Sarcasm aside Steam is just—and always has been since day 1—a way to DRM games. If you bought a game off Steam, installed it locally, and then wiped Steam off your PC entirely, you wouldn’t be able to play like 99% of the games found in the store.

Unending exponential growth/returns is impossible and inevitably the time will come where those expectations can no longer be met by reality and it all comes crashing down.

Hades was available on PC in 2018. It did not come to playstation until August 2021. Inscryption is on every platform NOW, but remained PC exclusive for a while, which is what I said. Where’s my Playstation Wildermyth? Playstation Snap?

Victoria 3, almost entire Total War series, League of Legends*, DoTA2, WoW Dragonflight, Marvel Snap, Valheim, Valorant, Hearthstone, Lost Ark, overwhelming majority of Warhammer 40k games, Hades* Wildermyth, Inscryption...these are some of the most popular games in the last few years that I can think of that have not

There’s a shitload of games on the PC that sure would be nice for me to play on my console but...[gestures broadly]...it is what it is.

This is like the 8,716th time Youtube changed a policy that messed with creators in a negative way, and the 8,716th time creators kind of...made a little fuss about it but then well eventually go back to normal.

They also heavily set up that Joel was...NEVER really a good person. His opening conversation on the phone implies he’s very close to losing his job, he’s pretty quick to gun down his neighbor before anyone knew what’s going on, and is already in “fuck everyone else” mode when he ignores the pleas of help from people

I’m not saying the hijinks were bad or weren’t fun, I’m just saying that the formula of the show wasn’t well paced and suddenly dumping Immortal-space-maybe-angel-children-colony-ship-desert-planet-crash landing-mecha-wing-arms-genocide-brother-etc etc is just...A LOT to suddenly drop in the last 2 episodes that it

Original Trigun suffered from the ‘Cowboy Bebop Problem’ where it was 90% whacky hijinks, then suddenly like 2.5 episodes of a main plot/story and boom, The End.  I'm glad to hear this seems to get right into it.

I wouldn’t say it’s killing the republican party, they’ve been *happily* leaning into the fascism for the last decade or so. It juat looks like a mess until they coalesce behind someone. Remember all the terrible things they were (rightly) saying about Trump right up to the moment they knew he was going to win, and

Guy sure is talkative for someone with absolutely no mention of a lawyer.

We’re probably still getting McCarthy in the end. I mean...no one else is stepping forward and challenging him. At least no one with the clout to get the remaining 20 votes he’s missing. They’ll cave eventually and then unite behind the guy. One thing is consistent with Republicans: no matter how badly they might hate

Yeah when a journalist reaches out to you for comment, THAT is the chance to clear the record, not ignoring it and making your own video weeks later.

I mean...you CAN. That is definitely a choice one could make if they were so inclined, I suppose.

I’ve already seen *Those* corners of the Reactionary Nerd Sphere losing their minds over Sarah’s casting.  You know, the most inconsequential, minor, no-one-cares change you could imagine.

If you manage to stay quiet and under the radar, you can release it finished into the wild. Once released, you’ll absolutely get a C&D but hey, you know, if all those randos on the internet download the copy/source code then hey, you ccan't help that it keeps popping up left and right.

If you find a way to travel into the future and bring back said “after” shots, I’m sure they’ll add them in.

The difference between Censorship and Voluntary Corporate Marketing Decisions seems to basically be “do I like the decision or not”. The nerds screaming “this world is now George Orwin’s 1982 Animal Crossing!” never seem to care that this was a decision the company came to on their own. There was no campaign of any

This year!? Shit, I’m still waiting for the public to come up with an official answer for what house I, as a leftist, am/am not allowed to buy from LAST year.
