Doesn’t Vampire Survivors chug modern PCs and turn their fans into jet engines? How are consoles going to handle it?

I’d argue needing to LIKE the source material isn’t required as much as needing to UNDERSTAND it is.

Philosophical question: MUST one be a “Fan” of the original work in order to adapt it? I’m a huge horror fan but I am a little...over the ones that rely purely on jump scares (Mortuary Assistant) or the “layers of fear” gimmick that changes the environment when you turn your camera away etc etc. I need a little MORE to keep me interested.

During the 360 era and well into my PS4 ownership I would often operate like this: purchasing physical discs and installing them while disconected from the internet. And unless I was actively engaged with some form of multiplayer part of the game, I would remain offline as I played.

While I’m certainly understanding of the issue with Frollo being a POS, Disney’s current major attraction in its themeparks has children hanging out with the Space Fascists that blow up planets and subjugate non-human races.

The biggest shocker here is that a game is coming out Nov 9th, and a publisher/studio actually gave reviewers more than 8 hours before launch to play/review the thing.

Fixed perspectives were like...half the fuckin’ horror of those games (Silent Hill, Resident Evil, etc) the camera positioned on top of a shelf looking at the player entering the room like you’re watching him from the pov of something yet to pounce... You dont get any of that feeling with OTS view.
