This is the first sensible commentary to come out of Gawker since the whole fiasco last week.

Though Craggs may be gone, at least I have access to all of the Natural Light merch I could ever imagine, as well as thrice-daily reminders of the Dollar Shave Club.

Multimillianire C level trying to hook up with a trick, why was there outrage? Seriously how is it any different than any of the dozens of times Gawker has gone after rich people and their dirty sex lives?

This is a good story and the sentiments are laudable and understandable. But nobody is laying mushroom clouds on Gawker. Somebody inside Gawker's own office did that when they hit “Publish” thinking they were laying a mushroom cloud on Conde Nast.

Seriously. People make mistakes. It happens. But the manner in which Gawker and the like absolutely eviscerate everyone else when they make mistakes means they deserve getting a taste of their own medicine when they callously ruin a private citizens life. Fuck Tommy Craggs. He’s a bitch.
