I will never understand the childish anger of internet gamer bros. I get the social/cultural/political roots of it, I just can’t imagine being so angry over something so miniscule. I like to believe it’s just teenagers who don’t know any better, but it’s so often overemotional adult men. It blows my mind every time

Literally every piece of art is political, at least in some fashion. Many are not intentionally trying to deliver a political message, but they can still reflect the values and beliefs of the people and the culture that created them. The people who made the board game Life probably weren’t trying to deliver a

Hmm. Caught between two Michael Scott quotes to respond to this article. Do I go with “You are a thief of joy”? Or “Why are you the way that you are?” Both apply equally IMO.

So last night while drinking too much and checking in on Drew for probably the 25th time that day, I decided to sketch a loving tribute. I use the term “sketch” loosely because I basically just ripped off (and for a good chunk of it I downright traced) the Death of Superman comic book cover. I don’t really understand

My husband and I always call out “NO ONE DENIES THIS” any time Boston is referenced, in any conversation. Drew is a part of us. Sending him all the best for a speedy recovery, and peace and comfort to his family and friends while they help him through this.

But there’s a problem. It’s 2018 and I don’t need or particularly want media to humanize Nazis. I acknowledge that history is complex, and I’m glad that Battlefield treats it that way. But The Last Tiger’s extraordinary production value is hell-bent on telling the tale of “the Good German” while glossing over the

Just finished chapter 6 yesterday.

If you are an overdramatic drama queen, maybe.

‘found in a parking lot in Bowie, MD’ ...that is my nightmare

Imagine being an academic at GW, seeing the salaries attached to these people, and their behavior, and then having to return to your teaching and research.

I’m with you there. Having never played a mainline Pokemon game since gen 1, all these other mechanics they’ve added as time went on are baffling to me.

Maybe it’s just me, but I haven’t cared too much about the increased complexity as the series has evolved. EV training, breeding, held items, nature’s... i like keeping it simple. Even if it means the game will be easy in this case, I’m still down for it.

Or allow me to search an entire dresser? I’m sorry, but the control issue is game breaking.

I mean, if their plan is to get more people to sign up for Fortnite just for the opportunity to virtually wreck Tom Brady again, and again, and again, they might be on to something.

It’s not for me (I’m just not all that hot at shooters in general), but I’m glad others are enjoying it.  Needs more Bears, tho.

The wild west was often tedious.  Taking care of a horse and setting up camp are tedious activities, but they create a sense of place that makes RDR2's world feel more alive and deep than just about any other game world I can think of.

It’s astounding to me how these nerds are screaming themselves into rage-comas because a phone toy isn’t directly marketed to them.

Holy shit, Gamers are trash.  Just don’t play it if you’re that mad.  Christ...

Nor should they expect it. I agree it’s a bad idea and not what i want. What will i do with this turn of events? Not play it and maybe check out Path of Exile. This Gamers Rise Up bullshit is just embarrassing. They don’t care how angry you rage on reddit. They care if they don’t make money on it. No amount of reddit

since you don’t really play video games, I’m unsure of your angle here (you just want to say “oh thank god! it is fun!”) but yes, I’m enjoying RDR2 and can confirm fun is being had.

I like Smash ok, but I really fucking hate the fanbase. This game has literally every Smash character ever, plus a decent amount of new ones, and they’re still constantly disappointed by every single announcement.

Beaten again by a not-gray.
