While all are great, Armada and X-Wing are at their best when playing with someone who has also invested in the game in order to create their own squadron or fleet that they want to test against yours. Think of it like Magic: The Gathering. It requires a bit of an investment from both players and there is an element

Armada’s Core set(which you need) gives you a 2 player option right off the bat. So only one person needs to buy it. Same goes for Rebellion. I don’t know about the others. Armada takes about 1-2 hours per game and Rebellion is listed at 3-4 hours. So that may be a factor for you too.

I’d recommend Joseph over Stewart. He may not be as reliable but when it comes to board games he is not as aggressive. Both of them require about an equal amount of food so moneywise it should not make a difference. I don’t know if you have a problem with girls but if not Susan is also very interested in playing a few

How full is your wallet, and how empty would you like it to be? X-Wing and Armada can get pretty pricey at 20-30$ per ship. For X-Wing, the Tantive IV is about $100.

Imperial Assualt is my favorite, but I would only recommend it if you have a fun group to play it with regularly. The beauty lies in being able to level up and continue to play with the same characters through the story, but someone will need to control the Imperial army, and switching roles doesn’t really make sense

Never be sorry for being that guy. There is no greater feeling on the Internet than having your knowledge of genre minutiae pay off.

My friend and I started Imperial Assault recently and I highly recommend it. You can either do a campaign mode where one person is the imperials (almost like a Dungeon Master) and up to four other friends can be original characters with their own set of skills or a skirmish mode where it's a quick pick up battle you

I personally like X-Wing. It’s probably meant to be played 1v1 but I guess it works if you create teams. The starter set comes with 1 X-Wing and 2 TIE-fighters, and that’s enough to start playing, but you can upgrade your army as much as you want. There’s also a third faction called Scum which has mercenary ships from

I would recommend ANY of Fantasy Flight’s star wars games. They’re all pretty good. As AudioWeasel mentioned, it really just comes down to what kind of game you’re looking for. I’m a big fan of Armada and Imperial Assault and own both.

It depends on what you’re looking for. Ground combat? Imperial Assault. Fast paced tactical space combat? X-Wing. Slower paced, more strategic? Armada. A more zoomed out, high level, galaxy-wide strategy game? Rebellion. They’re all good, but they’re all different.

That game exists, is called Empire at War

The Loot Cave has NOTHING on Infinite Amor Power. I mean, The Division is in a serious state of unplayability, DESTINY was no where near that type of broken.

Everytime I level up, my body fills with extra meat and blood to abosorb damage.

Meanwhile, the Taken Spring update has made Destiny the best it’s ever been. We welcome all ye Division people back to the Tower with open arms.

Meh, as a black person who bristles at the idea of voting for someone who has disparaged and activley sought to hurt people who look like me, I was very happy casting my ballot for Bernie Sanders.
