Fantastic, Jason. Thanks for this. As a hardcore Destiny player that loves the lore and the game world, I’ve always wondered just what really happened during the notorious reboot of the story, but had never been able to read about it in one cohesive narrative. Great work.

Lucky! I’ve gotten good weapons: 309 fusion and shotgun, 310 sniper, 309 scout with full auto, 310 hand cannon. But my luck with armor and ghost shells is total crap!

Good point about the public event app/website. I have been using an app for ages, and even with that (very accurate) app, it still took me a while to track down a warsat on each planet. If you handed this questline to someone that wasn’t that plugged into the community, it would have taken ages.

I agree that it was a little underwhelming in that it could be done in 24 hours, but at the same time, it was only so easy because the internet handed it to people on a silver platter.
