You'll see random people, and it'll group you using matchmaking into competitive PvP and into Strike Missions (instanced dungeons with bosses). That's it, though. The people you see running around...you can't really communicate with them short of sending them a group invite or message using PSN.

So I bought a PS4 and this game a week ago on a whim. I honestly didn't read a thing about Destiny, didn't play the alpha/beta, didn't watch videos, and generally didn't care for it since I didn't plan on being able to play it. As such, I would say my impressions are generally unvarnished, with minimal hype.

I just bought it myself. I never thought or cared much about the aesthetics of the console, but then I actually bought the white PS4 and I can't get over how striking it looks. I love it.

I'm 26. When I graduated high school in 2006, one kid had a tattoo. Fast forward to the last 3 years dating my ex-girlfriend: her sister was in highschool at the time and holy shit, so many kids (including her sister) had tattoos while still in high school. Blew my mind.
