WTF.  Do you have to find her attractive for her to be able to sell cars?  How very 1970’s of you.

A great adventure for sure, but not everyone has the time or money to spend a week in Germany to purchase a car.  I assume you pay out of pocket for said trip ?

My dad bought a 2012 with that TT Ecoboost and around 70,000 miles, Thankfully he got the extended warranty because it ate its chain guides a few months later and the warranty covered the $4-$5k replacement. If high mileage, get a V8.

I believe it is also the cargo floor.

The Model X has a 100 KWH battery and 500 hp. Most EV owners will install a level 2 charger which gives you 8-9 kWh / hour or will charge the X from dead overnight. I can’t see the Hummer having more than 150 kWh so it will still charge in less than a day... from dead. and since most days people don’t drive 300

The average American household has 2 cars.   If one is an EV and one is an ICE, problem solved.   My wife and I can easily swap cars if one of us needs to road trip.

It is a hatchback with fold down rear seats, a significant difference from the smaller 3 sedan.

I get it. I drive an F31 328i wagon which has just a bit more space than the ST. The author made the comparison to the AMG wagon and I was simply pointing out that they are vastly different beasts. People buying the AMG wagon expect it to do heavy duty “Wagon” stuff. The Porsche is more of a hardcore fastback/hatchback

Yeah,he ignored the elephant in the room. This looks like a wagon but barely has more luggage space than the sedan, and has half the cargo space of the AMG.

This looks like a wagon but barely has more luggage space than the sedan, and has half the cargo space of the AMG.   It has about the same cargo space as a golf.

Yeah, sugar should take like 95% of the blame.

Yes, and by Freedom, you mean “less restriction on established corporations to screw over consumers”.

Ironically, this is due to the strong political lobby of GM, who continually is shifting production to Mexico/Canada.......

One of my favorite things about my BMW wagon is the independently opening rear glass.  Simple feature adds so much flexibility.

They are a great value at low MSRP/Base price, but the examples in the article are $58k. Cmon man. That is loaded Volvo XC90 money. A loaded Honda Pilot Touring Elite is $48k.

I dunno man.... I took paved public roads today to my six figure job at a company I own, which I was prepared for by a public education. Passed the police and fire department on the way. I breathed clean air and drank clean water from the tap. None of it is perfect, but it is.... something. Private corporations

Carmax warranties are not cheap. I recently traded my MK7 GTI for a 2014 328i Wagon with about 55000 miles. I used Carmax because these are tough to find and they will ship from other states.... and their purchase process is super quick and painless..... anyway their cost to warranty the car up to 100k miles was

I’m in the same boat.  Drove an 85 Civic Si in college 25 years ago.   Had around. 95 HP and weighed 1700lbs with skinny 13” wheels.   That car was a blast to hoon.  Owned a lot of cars since including a 99 Integra GS-R, 2015 GTI and now a modded 328i F31 wagon, but nothing was as fun and pure as that Civic.

I would assume steering wheel controls will remain for basic audio and cruise functions. The Tesla model 3 has them along with buttons on the seats for seat movement. As far as the radio, i typically stream music and podcasts from my phone anyway which requires a screen regardless

Maybe your not familiar with the Germans. VW/Audi requires a VW 502 or 505 grade oil that meets their specific testing requirements. This is typically a high grade full synthetic. I would be very surprised if VW dealers were using something different than what VW requires. Almost all VW/Audi engines are
