He said nothing about denying people choices… and speaking of denying people choices… the owner of Chick fil a donates heavily to anti gay rights and anti gay marriage causes.

People forget how bleak the late 90’s were. The BMW 328i had 193 hp. I bought a new Integra GS-R which was praised for its 170 hp engine.

I didn’t even mind the occasional political article., but now all we have left are that and hourly articles on Tesla. They have a clinical obsession with Elon.

National average prices were higher in 2008… and also inflation is a thing.   A dollar in 2008 is $1.30 today.

Ships like this run on a horribly dirty form of fuel called “bunker fuel” and can burn well over 100 tons of it per day.   Tell me again how keeping it going to transport rich people is responsible?

I was talking about mileage… but I agree the old high revving Japanese 4’s were more visceral. 22 years ago I bought a new Integra GS-R and loved taking it to redline. I think my DSG GTIshifted at around 7k in sport mode, so not bad but the problem is you get going to fast to quickly. Those Hondas were fun because

I’ve owned a number of high reving Hondas and most recently two turbo charged 2.0 German cars (2015 GTI and 2014 328i wagon) and I agree with you, however the turbo motors have about twice the torque of those high reving honda motors…. So you are getting a lot more power in return for the loss of mileage when driven

Fast for the time maybe.. but average compared to a regular sedan today. 300M 60-100 is 14 seconds, a bit faster than a 4 cylinder Outback.   Of course back then cars frequently only had 4 speeds, so when you were going over 70 the engine was really starting to hit the higher rev range making it feel faster.   When

Historically there is a pretty good consensus that FWD is better in the snow for the average car. Generally understeer is safer than oversteer and fwd cars typically have more weight over the drive wheels.

Exactly this.  It looks like a fun rally car, which attracts young, mostly female buyers… in reality it has very little power, FWD and gets middling fuel economy.

Water isn’t an issue. Nuclear submarines are actually powered by… electricity. Easier than trying to keep the various fluids from running out of an ICE vehicle.  And as far as puncturing a battery..  ICE cars manage to protect transmissions, oil pans and gas tanks.

No, that’s not how this works. Most people have taxes taken out by their employer… sometimes too much or too little depending on their situation which leads to adjustments in the form of refunds or additional taxes.

Tesla has a long way to go for build quality, but with 2022 being their 13th year they have been doing it for more than a “couple”.

If only it was so easy to update a photo or gender marker on a DL.

Updating your gender marker on a dl isn’t as easy as you think and impossible in some states.  Also you can’t just go in and update you dl photo on a whim…. Usually have to wait until renewal time.

Wait until you learn what ICE car batteries are made from and where petroleum comes from.

Rate is declining…. but population is still growing.

Yeah, my son was driving on a country road during hunting season and a dear at full speed rammed the side of his car and caved the door in.    Was hit by deer.

Slow day at Tesla..

Holy cow… he crammed almost all the right wing conspiracy theories into that rant…. Except her emails…
