Per the LAPD, while Tipping was giving a demonstration that involved grappling from a high height with another officer, both fell to the ground, “resulting in a catastrophic injury to Tipping’s spinal cord.” The other officer did not die.

I suppose in a sense this *is* the sequel to Disco Elysium.
Read about this over the weekend. It all seems tragically ironic but also, exactly the sort of thing Disco Elysium talked about, Capital absorbing it’s critiques. The bottling and selling of rebellion against itself. The anarchic-communist revolution sponsored by Pepsi.
“Rings of Power” may be streaming only, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot more people had Prime video than have HBO and HBOmax.
Google’s track record of creating something interesting, getting bored when it isn’t immediately super successful, and then abruptly killing it is a big reason why I’m much more hesitant to even bother trying most of their new apps and services. I loved Inbox and used it for as long as I could, tried using half a…
One false narrative—that Cyberpunk 2077 was a boring, busted piece of shit at launch
it’s a well-constructed rpg with gorgeous art and a living city.
He was Ironborn but I don’t think he was a Greyjoy. The Greyjoys gained power from the Targaryens after Harren and his family were killed.
“I Would Really Like to Tell Everyone My Opinions, So I’m Going to Act Like This is a Big Deal When It Really Isn’t”
The objective was just weird to begin with. They’ve never demanded that people do the Master-level activity for weekly story progression. Not sure what they were thinking here.
This streamer is basically signing agreements that he won’t talk about confidential info, and then lying about being the one to spread it afterwards. Jason is finding people willing to talk about (potentially) confidential info, and then protecting their anonymity when necessary; if he were violating NDAs I’d assume…
It’s an ignominious ending for a character we’ve only just met, and it’s part of a persistent problem on modern television.
This is why companies do CG trailers. Too many people expect finished and polished products when they first see them, and it’s just safer to show CG until the game is basically finished.
Pretty wild stuff. The most surprising thing to me has been just how fucking tenuous a grasp the general gaming public has on the process of making games. I mean my expectations were low, but damn.
I feel like other places (maybe here) have already hit the head on the nail on this.
Asked directly about whether last-gen VR titles would be playable on the new headset, Nishino stated that “PSVR games are not compatible with PSVR2 because PSVR2 is designed to deliver a truly next generation VR experience.”
And that’s why they’re *still* doing the minimum.
Is this even needed? I just open my dishwasher when it’s done, pull all the racks out and by the time everything is cool enough to touch, it’s dry. I call BS on this one and any perceived positive results are likely psychological. Even most of the comments on the TikTok say it doesn’t work.
I don’t understand the still-strong pull this game has. It makes me wonder how many fans of the game have actually gone back to play it within the last... Decade? 15 years? It feels absolutely abysmal to play. It feels like a relic of design that people are happy to see gone. I don’t understand why this game gets this…
I’m just going to put this out there, Square are not a good publisher. They really cannibalise their studios and have unrealistic performance expectations. They really don’t support their teams and with the exception of a handful of games they don’t seem to care about properties.
