I felt the same way, and that was a pretty cool boss battle too. Midway through HoW, I thought to myself “this the pacing and storytelling vanilla Destiny should have had.” The HoW missions were worlds better then Vanilla Destiny and TDB.

I consider the last mission an apology for The Black Garden.

That’s a good point. It’s like people think Microsoft is saying, “Ha, we bricked your console, now you can’t buy any more of our games, we got you good.”

Because being all digital had nothing to do with it? Microsoft and Sony can brick ANY connected console at any time. (In fact, Sony sometimes does it for fun during system updates!)
