Ari’s just trying to justify his own hot take.

Yeah it’s weird to be on the side of corporate consolidation, but given how poorly managed Activision/Bliz has been in the past decade it’s hard to see how this could lead to anything other than an improvement.
Okay but you pointed out the flaw with AIO’s in your own comment, which is that while larger AIO’s might be more efficient they’re also, well, larger.
Because AIO solutions really aren’t any better at cooling than a traditional air cooled system. There have been tests comparing the two and a fan and tower cooler works better the vast majority of the time. Plus now the console maker has to factor in space for tubing as well.
It really makes me appreciate just how elegant the Series X is designed with it’s sandwiched internal components with just a big fan at the top blowing out hot air.
I think it’ll depend on whether the chip shortage continues.
Definitely a super impressive feat of homebrew reengineering.
Have you seen the state of the game in the past 6 months? QA is not 343's strong suit.
Just how large is Obsidian now that they’re owned by MS? It feels like every year they announce a new game before the last one is even out.
Oh hey, it’s Mad Maggie from Apex Legends.
I think the original Ellie model looks weird because she’s got very large eyes proportional to her face, which gives her an almost anime-esque look.
While putting the two versions side by side does make the graphical improvements obvious, but while I watched the teaser for the PS5 remake all I could think was that if you had told me it was the PS4 version I would have believed you.
I haven’t played a Diablo game but isn’t grinding for better gear the whole point of the game?
TBF I don’t think any of the original Rare staff that worked on their classic franchises is still around at the studio at this point, Ship of Theseus and all that.
I liked the game and its sequel but I don’t think I’d go so far to say it’s one of the best shooters ever.
While I’m hopeful this will lead to better working conditions for MS employees, I do hope this doesn’t mean Microsoft will double down on its practice of hiring contract workers instead of hiring full time employees.
I’m not surprised. I barely engage with the comments now, and the quality of the articles has dropped dramatically since the Old Guard all jumped ship.
It’s just a plot hole the writers deliberately left so they could tease the mystery of the Jake personality for another season, there’s really not much more depth to plumb.
Yeah, it felt like there were several missing scenes in this episode.
The pacing has been off for at least a couple episodes now, but the finale really suffered the most. It felt like entire scenes were missing from this episode, from a farewell between Marc/Steven and Layla, to Layla escaping the tomb and somehow ending up disguised aboard Harrow’s caravan.
