I mean they Netflix on the goddamn DS, so I doubt resolution has anything to do with it.

I highly doubt it has anything to do with Netflix not wanting to, especially considering how popular the Switch is.

Having semi-yearly hardware refreshes also fits into MS strategy of offering a payment plan for their consoles bundled with Gamepass.

The Xbox UI feels like a mess, but in reality, it’s actually kinda interesting that they just have so many different places and spaces to feature games

I remember when inFamous and Prototype released around the same time, and the Sony fanboys were constantly flaming Prototype, even though Prototype was also coming to the PS3.

Plague Tale is good, but not great. It’s decent stealth game that unfortunately abandons some of its more interesting mechanics near the end of the game in favor of less interesting ideas. Also the story gets absolutely nuts near the end, and maybe not in a good way.

For now the cloud streaming just serves as a nice bonus offering to GamePass members, I’m sure the vast majority of users prefer being able to download the game locally.

I mean, Sony still pays a ton of money to studios to keep games off Xbox, and the studios Sony acquired already focused on making PS exclusives.

They’ve included the story expansions for Gears 5 as part of Game Pass Ultimate, not sure if any other games have gotten that treatment though.

These look like they used to be colorful and then got left in a room with a heavy smoker for 15 years.

I don’t play Warzone, but in Apex I try an avoid all the skins that literally glow or have holographic glowing patterns. Not that visibility is really an issue since most of the maps are well lit, but I don’t feel like giving other teams any advantage.

The character models look almost exactly like the ones from the Sims.

Plot twist, they’re making a new Silent Hill but it’s a Battle Royale game with loot boxes.

The fact that Death Stranding, the most unfiltered Kojima experience to ever Kojima, is getting a “Director’s Cut” is honestly hilarious.

Based on the latest trailer, any influences Martin may have had seem minimal at best. The lore and terminology used in the E3 trailer was standard Miyazaki proper noun nonsense.

Meanwhile the Rachet & Clank series just had its 17th game released.

I’m honestly surprised Forza Horizon was the most anticipated game considering racing is typically a more niche genre (despite the Horizon line being the more accessible side of the series).

Nintendo gets away with a lot based on sheer goodwill alone. Imagine if any other publishers tried pulling the shit they do and people would flip, but with Nintendo people just chuckle to themselves and go "oh it's just Nintendo being Nintendo".
