It’s even more baffling when you realize that she’s a genetic clone of her “father” but altered to be an attractive woman.

Hopefully they fix her face so she actually looks like Yvonne Strahovski this time, and not a version of her made out of playdough.

Mass Effect 2 at that time, tried to deflect the gratuit-assness of the moment by stating the game had the same kind of shots of Miranda’s Cerberus partner Jacob, but writer Tracey John seemed skeptical.

I’m not a fan of FemShep’s new ‘canon’ face either, but TBF it was a design that was voted on by fans before the launch of ME3. Bioware put up a ton of different choices for people to vote on (though all of the options did look like models).

Not just an iterative process but a collaborative one too.

That’s because Nintendo cheaps out and half asses on everything it does besides the games it makes.

I remember reading somewhere that the Chinese markets attitude towards RNG based systems like this is much more accepting, mostly because they’ve been exposed to it longer.

I don’t want to be the one making excuses on behalf of a massive corporation for a game I don’t even play, but....

ME3 multiplayer is one of the rare times where a tacked on multiplayer mode in a traditionally single player series actually turned out to be really good (this was around the time when even God of War got multiplayer).

I really didn’t expect the Xbox’s “Smart Delivery” feature to be anything beyond a dumb marketing name, but at least it works the way it was advertised.

Honestly the approach with the Series S seems pretty smart since it keeps the same CPU as the Series X, just with slightly lower clock speeds.

I think the base PS5 will be fine for a long time, especially if you don’t care about ray tracing.

I never understood how people had trouble handling the Mako. You just aim in the direction you want to drive, it wasn’t that hard...

I would really like a full remake of this series at some point, rather than a remaster.

AMD has said they’re working on a DLSS equivalent, but haven’t provided any details yet. So I’d wager it’s at least a year or two off.

Really hope the PS5 & Series X get a mid cycle hardware refresh to properly support ray tracing. The AMD GPU’s they current use simply aren’t designed to properly run the feature, and unlike Nvidia cards on PC there’s no DLSS equivalent to compensate.

Even a 2060 can’t properly run it with RT on without some help with DLSS.

Probably because the top execs treated it as some minor side project and it never got the proper resources/support it needed. Not to mention both are entering extremely crowded markets.

I believe Sony mostly uses Gaikai’s infrastructure, though they do own some of OnLive’s patents.

While we have no idea what the Google studios were working on, the problem with the Amazon studios was that they were just chasing trends and releasing mediocre games into already crowded genres.
