How did you come up with $25 worth of content. All we have to go on is a brief gameplay trailer and the press release.
Okay, so what exactly in your opinion would justify a full sequel?
I don’t understand how it can be a cash grab if they’re still offering new content to people who own OW1 for free.
Yep, that’s why I’m suspecting that OW1 will eat into the sales for OW2. If you don’t care about PvE, there’s really no reason to upgrade.

I swear people have lost their fucking minds that OW1 is getting a sequel.
You could argue that about a ton of games though.
I mean I’ve more than gotten my money’s worth out of my initial $40 purchase of OW1.
Reading the comments in this article has me thinking everyone here has lost their damn minds.
I mean it’s been 3 years since OW1 came out, 4 by the time OW2 is released. That’s a pretty lengthy amount of time between releases, all with constant updates between.
I mean OW1 still got 3 years worth of free content and launched at just $40 ($60 for some extra skins).
When you can’t beat’em, buy’em.
The Dreaming City Blind Well/Oracle weekly milestones also had a small story play out over the course of weeks. Each time you turned your progress into the giant oracle machine you had a small conversation with/at the Awoken Queen, until finally we got a cutscene showing Uldren Sov being resurrected as a guardian.
Yeah, there’s only 1 mission and 1 strike that actually let you explore inside the Shadowkeep.
